Hello and welcome to another exciting article, this time we are discussing The Van Allen radiation Belts and their relation to climate cycles. Discovered by James Van Allen in the 1950s, the belts represent a basic understanding of how particle movement between our planet, the sun and other celestial bodies occurs. (http://moontruth.org/vanallen/SciAm1959March/VanAllenSciAm1959MarchP39.jpg , Complete link http://moontruth.org/vanallen/).

“Dr. James Van Allen did not get all the scientific awards for discovering a  "harmless field of radiation". The VABelt is deadly, huge (60000 km /     37282 mi), and takes over 1.5 hours to get through at 39000 km/h or 24000  mph. He saved lives of astronauts who would have gone through it.”

Lucky or not, in recent years these figures do not hold constant, the field has changed due to our celestial neighbourhood. Nature works in cycles as long and vibrant in complexity as the processes of the inner solar system, mid range bodies like trans-Neptunian objects and the entire 230,000,000 (https://starchild.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/StarChild/questions/question18.html) year orbit of our sun around the centre of the Milky Way. In this time the mainstream community is taught Pluto is the furthest orbit that classifies as a dwarf planet in the mainstream ideology. This is not true, as exemplified by Eris and other trans-Neptunian celestial bodies. Hopefully educational reform will continue to move what could one day be considered common knowledge along to future generations. http://web.gps.caltech.edu/~mbrown/planetlila/

Wait a moment though; any elliptical belts like the Kuiper Belt or the Oort Cloud can affect the Van Allen Radiation Belt. This includes Dwarf class planets like Eris whose orbit at its farthest point goes way beyond Pluto (known as an aphelion, farthest orbital point from the object it’s orbiting) and perhaps at its closest point know as its perihelion it come in range to be felt by earth and our climate. Should anything ever be determined to have an intimate elliptical orbit in our inner solar system we would need to be concerned, as unforeseen celestial bodies affect the Van Allen Belt as well as the progress of geo thermal particle movement.  Occasionally referred to as seduction zones which would be commonly found where active volcanoes are and tectonic plates meet.

How could we determine this relation that still lives in the realm of future discoveries? We could look at the energy output of our sun, to see if it has made any new friends (energy sources), or got reacquainted more likely based on how long the sun has been active. We could also look at the energy hitting the Van Allen Belts and if it’s disproportionately heavy or lessened at any points in the atmosphere or more specifically, the magnetosphere (Mag-neat-o-sphere). The main two players in the Earth’s radiation belt should be obvious. The Sun and the Earth, the Earth especially on its elliptical (or equator) protects the surface by a movement of particles that occurred prior to human intervention. So what is the cause of this protective belt?

Short answer: As neutrons and protons loose electrons in the cycle of solar winds coming from the sun and other celestial bodies, they slow and as they do they act as a shield for the next wave of incoming particles.

correction*  After the protons and neutrons loose electrons in the direct passage of celestial winds, they reacquire electrons trying to escape the lower layers of our atmosphere. Forcing them to turn away from hitting our planet into a convection like soup that we know as the VAbelts.

Long answer:

The Earth’s magnetic field does more than just deflect ions or direct them to the poles.  When a charge accelerates it radiates light, and turning a corner is just acceleration in a new direction.  This “braking radiation” slows the charge that creates it (that’s a big part of why the aurora is inspiring as opposed to sterilizing).  If an ion slows down enough it won’t escape back into space and it won’t hit the Earth.  Instead it gets stuck moving in big loops, following the right hand rule all the way, thousands of miles above us (with the exception of our Antarctic readers).  This phenomena is a “magnetic bottle”, which traps the moving charged particles inside of it.  The doughnut-shaped bottles around Earth are the Van Allen radiation belts.  Ions build up there over time (they fall out eventually) and still move very fast, making it a dangerous place for delicate electronics and doubly delicate astronauts. http://www.askamathematician.com/2014/07/q-how-does-earths-magnetic-field-protect-us/

Interesting however to note is that Mars likely had an atmosphere like Earths. http://www.atmos.washington.edu/~davidc/papers_mine/Catling-MarsAtmos-inpress2006.pdf

In some peoples understanding of our solar systems history, believers say Mars may have lost its atmosphere within the last 20,000 years. If so, the cause of this event would be a profound anecdote to be aware of. As of the latest publications I have read, scientists seem inclined to stay within comfortable zones of speculation for the most part. In addition to Mars disturbing trauma, the asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter is also speculated by some to be as collaborated by Zecharia Sitchin’s interpretations of the Samarian Tablets as a planet once known as Tiamat. http://www.paranoiamagazine.com/2016/06/late-great-planet-tiamat-third-rock-sun-fifth-rock-sun/

What some claim took Mars out, is as told in this article. http://metro.co.uk/2014/11/24/life-on-mars-was-destroyed-by-nuclear-attack-says-physicist-and-we-could-be-next-4960673/

Another cause of fascination should be the recent discovery of a third belt; one so poorly understood it knocked out the very satellite sent to investigate it. “However, in 2013, NASA's Van Allen Probes reported an unexplained third Van Allen belt that had not previously been observed. This third Van Allen belt lasted only a few weeks before it vanished, and its cause remained inexplicable.” (https://www.ualberta.ca/science/science-news/2016/june/space-tsunami-causes-third-van-allen-belt)

The article above goes on to talk about a few related topics, like the seriousness of understanding and preventing other fluctuations of plasma energy that hits earth.

Space storms' staggering impact on society

Many of the services we rely on today, such as GPS and satellite-based telecommunications, are affected by radiation within the Van Allen belts. Radiation in the form of high-energy electrons, often called "satellite killer" electrons because of their threat to satellites, is a high profile focus for the International Living with a Star (ILWS) Program and international cooperation between multiple international space agencies. Recent socio- economic studies of the impact of a severe space weather storm have  estimated that the cost of the overall damage and follow-on impacts on space-based and terrestrial infrastructure could be as large as high as  $2 trillion USD.

Politicians are also starting to give serious consideration to the risk from space weather. The White House recently announced the implementation of a Space Weather Action Plan highlighting the importance of space weather research like this recent discovery. The action plan seeks to mitigate the effects of extreme space weather by developing specific actions targeting  mitigation and promoting international collaboration.

Back up, 2,000,000,000,000 dollars? That’s quite the large amount of paper to worry about as related to space weather.

In summary, we learned about in order:

The Van Allan Radiation Belts,

Elliptical orbits of the Kuiper belt, Oort Clouds, Eris

The cause of the VAbelts

Mars, the asteroid belt, speculations?

Third VAbelt, all you Nasa

Space storms, risks, potential costs

So you may be asking, why do you know all this? Or why are you telling me? I am relaying this information to enable the clever inside all of us, and to further illustrate the corruption of mainstream dialogue as related to climate phenomena as well as many other issues relevant to the well being of everyone.

I hope you have enjoyed this adventure through celestial relations.

Until next time, your honest friend, the fella who would donate the shirt off his back if you were in need. If anyone can find any faults with my information, perspective, or references, please let me know and I will buy you a beer sometime.

Sincerely with love

Joe

To the left we can observe a model of the Kuiper Belt as highlighted in green, this area is quite intriguing because these objects are small yet still abide by our suns as one of their key electromagnetic anchors. https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triton_(moon)
